Lots of us have communication difficulties. We may not see or hear well. We may not like reading or writing. We may be shy. AACT is looking for ways to help. IT can help us out with this! Mobile phones and iPads are great for communication. They can be fun too! We work with experts. We try different ways of using IT – so everyone can join in.

Our mission is to enable Information Technology to be used to help people with communication disabilities and to promote the wider understanding of such disabilities.

How We’re Working to Achieve These

We raise funds, coordinate expert consultants and volunteers, run projects and work with other organisations that embrace innovative technologies, encouraging people with communications disabilities and their supporters to try new ways of communicating.
